Sometimes I write pieces which are unrelated to polar exploration. They might make people laugh, or think, or get angry. I hope so. Mostly I write for a London-based monthly magazine called Perspective. The team is constantly searching for the unexpected angle and love nothing more than provoking a lively debate. As the editor puts it: ‘Agreeing isn’t the point - listening to other perspectives is.’
